| The region includes some of the most spectacular countryside in Sydney - farms nestled along scenic drives, rolling green hills lying peacefully below mist shrouded mountains, lush bush landscapes where horses, cattle and alpacas graze amid gum-dotted paddocks. Hawkesbury Harvest is the 'local' ingredient of Sydney 's dynamic food and wine culture. In 2000, a small group of people, passionate about the Hawkesbury and its agricultural heritage, joined together to promote the fresh, seasonal produce from the farms on Sydney 's doorstep. Today, this community-based organization, HAWKESBURY HARVEST, continues to highlight the range of unique experiences that can be found in the Hawkesbury region and offers a number of products, which include: Farm Gate Trail, a variety of produce, good and service sold at the Farmgate for your convenience.
